Babies and young children are curious creatures.
They explore the world with their hands and mouths - and sometimes that leads them into situations where we adults need to react quickly and calmly. This course is for you who want to be able to act swiftly and confidently if your baby or child gets injured. You will learn how to give first aid to infants and young children - with calm, confidence, and knowledge. Because whether it’s something stuck in the throat, a bump on the head, or a high fever, it makes all the difference to know what to do - and when. Date November 24th - From 15.00-17.30 What will we cover?

How to check breathing and circulation
CPR on infants and children
What to do if airways are blocked
When to call 1-1-2 (emergency services)
First aid for burns, poisoning, and febrile seizures
Head injuries and observation
Everyday household hazards - and how to prevent them

The course is led by Line from Små Liv, specialist in first aid for children. Behind Små Liv are pediatric nurses with many years of experience - both from hospitals and from everyday life with parents. They know what works, and they understand how important it is to feel confident before something happens. You’ll have the chance to practice CPR on training dolls during the course, so you can try it out in a safe and supportive setting. You’ll leave with both knowledge and peace of mind - ready to take action if an accident occurs. Good to know

The course takes place in calm, comfortable surroundings, where there’s room to change diapers, comfort, or feed your child along the way.
There is a limited number of spots - so remember to sign up in advance.

Registration is generally binding. Please note: The course will only take place if a sufficient number of participants sign up. In case of too few registrations, it may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the start.
